5 Stars Perhaps a great TV, but watch the price
Not sure if it’s a great tv-though I have seen very positive reviews in a/v magazines, I am writing to alert potential buyers attracted to seemingly good deals that aren’t. I was ready to purchase the tv via Amazon using Vann’s as the seller as they were advertising the selling price as $2499, supposedly $700 off the normal price of $3199. I went to Samsung’s web site for additional information and found that the list price is actually only $2799, so the discount is only $300 and not the $700 Vann’s is touting. Not sure why Amazon sanctions this kind of shady business dealing, & wish I could find a way to ask them directly, but failing that I want to alert potential buyers.
